Hi all, I'm semi-retired, have a small rental business that keeps me too busy. I have two beautiful grandchildren, who I don't get to see enough. Love where I live near the Gulf of Mexico, where we go boating, fishing and scalloping. Hope to see you all soon!

Hey! I thank the great alums who put together this reunion website for us. I graduated in '72 from U of Md with a journalism degree; married Michael Robinson same year; received my Master's in '75 Speech/political communications. Had a short internship at the Democratic National Hdqtrs right after Watergate breakin, and moved on to the US House of Representatives for my dream job, Congressional Press Secretary. Spent 9 years on Capitol Hill with 4 Democratic Members of the House, including the now US Senator Barbara Boxer. Later, headed up a member benefits subsidiary of the National Assn of Social Workers, and 'retired' early in 2004. We have two sons, Dan (29) a software engineer at US Naval Research Lab, and Scott (25) a musician in the band "Hotspur", a music teacher and recording engineer. Mike is a senior engineer at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab. We enjoy as much time as we can get in our Hilton Head Island SC vacation rental home and the golfing and beach activities there. Work and pleasure trips have taken me to many fascinating and wonderful destinations all over the US, to mainland China, the UK, Europe and Hungary. I am so looking forward to seeing alums on Sat evening, June 28th! |

After graduating from Frostburg State, I married my college sweetheart, Mark. For 20 years I taught in private Christian schools with a focus on special education. Currently I am semi-retired, helping with my husband's business part-time. We are blessed with 2 married children (a son and a daughter) and 7 grandchildren! Great fun! I enjoy sign language, singing, crocheting, reading, crafts of all kinds and especially being "Nana." Looking forward to seeing you all at the class reunion. |

New York
Psychotherapist / Psychoanalyst
I have been living in New York City for about 35 years. I graduated American University in DC with a BA in 1972. I moved to New York to go to New York University for graduate school and received my Masters Degree in 1975. In 1985 I began post graduate training in Psychoanalysis (IPTAR) and completed that training in 1993. I also have training in Parent-Infant Psychotherapy. I have been in private practice since 1986, working with adults in psychoanalysis and psychotherapy, with adolescents in psychotherapy as well as parent - infant/toddler psychotherapy.
I began my career in 1975 working with adolescents. :-) Particularly rewarding is my work with high risk mothers and infants who are in a residential treatment program for substance abuse. I am most fortunate to receive funding from two foundations for this work. How did all this happen? - it must have been all those hours I spend in the counseling office with Mrs. Allen, filing and stuffing envelopes, after I was "asked to leave class" for disruptive behavior or by choice when I could not "bear" to be in a particular class. I must have caught this "counseling thing" by "osmosis". I also teach and write professional papers. Who would have ever thought I would be able to write a paper. Certainly not our beloved Miss Tegu.
I enjoy theater, movies and dance performances, as well as cooking, biking (as in bicycle), swimming and skiing. And yes, I have continued to dance ( jammin' in the language of 1968). I passed through the disco and club scene and have "aged" into the world of ballroom dancing - salsa and swing including west coast swing. I'm sure I'll make the transition soon to the foxtrot ! I've mostly kept up with my jazz and tap dance classes. Which brings me to, I am so glad that many of my jammin' buddies will be at the reunion. But wondering about you, Billy Earman - you gonna be there? Looking forward to seeing everyone. It will be a lot of fun.

I am still right here in the area living near White Flint Mall; just far enough so my wife does not go there every night, but close enough so we can walk. Still taking lots of black and white photos and I will bring some to the dinner. Still traveling the world as a Navy civilian engineer. I could retire, but why would I want to? For example, just getting ready to go "work" in Hawaii for a while. Meanwhile, making 10-mile mountain hikes with the Capital Hiking Club each Saturday and still out in my same canoe fishing (see photo).
